CFU Clubs Advance to State Cup "Final 4"...
Under-17 & Under-18 Boys Continue Quest for Title!!!
 
 
Central Florida United Soccer Club will have two teams playing for the Florida Youth Soccer Association State Championship during the weekend of May 17th & 18th in Pensacola, FL.  The Under-17 Boy’s Squad, coached by Jeff Johnson, will face Kendall Coalition while the Under-18 Boy’s Squad, coached by Mark Keymont, will play Team Boca in the semi-finals of their respective age groups.

Central Florida United Soccer Club will have six teams represented in the FYSA State Cup "Sweet 16" to be played at variuos sites during the weekend of April 26th & 27th.  The following are the teams that will look to win and advance to the "Elite 8":

        • defeated First Coast (3 - 0)
        • defeated Coral Springs (3 - 2)
      • CFU #801 Coached by Mark Keymont
        • defeated Ocala Arsenal (1 - 0)
        • defeated Dunedin FC (6 - 3)
    • CFU GIRL’S TEAMS
      • CFU #311 Coached by Keri Heedum
        • lost to Brandon FC (0 - 2)
      • CFU #511 Coached by Dan Phillips
        • lost to Team Boca (0 - 3)
      • CFU #611 Coached by Bill Barker
        • lost to Creeks Clash (2 - 4)

Central Florida United Soccer Club will have two teams playing this weekend in Round II of the FYSA State Cup Tournament with each team looking to join the five other CFU squads who have already qualified for the "Sweet 16".  The Under-13 Girls (CFU #311) Coached by Keri Heedum and the Under-16 Boys (CFU #601) Coached by Mark Keymont were each placed in a group of three teams and will look to advance to the next round of the tournament being played April 26th & 27th.

Central Florida United Soccer Club sent eleven teams into the FYSA State Cup Round I this past weekend, with seven squads moving on to Round II or the Sweet 16 depending on group placement.  The following are the teams that have qualified:

Central Florida United Soccer Club will send five boy’s teams and six girl’s teams into the FYSA State Cup First Round to be played at various spots in Florida this upcoming weekend.  The teams will look to survive and advance from group play into the Second Round or "Sweet 16", depending on how each finishes against the top teams from around the state.  CFU wishes all of you the best of luck...
